I know that ppl don’t need a passport to travel between states, but that does that count for traveling by air?
I’m just woundering, cuz my family is planning to go to Las Vegas, NV. and we read somewhere that we will need a passport. I just want to make it clear.
Thank you.

As long as you don’t leave the country, you don’t need a passport. You can use a passport as an ID when you check in to your flight, but you don’t have to have it.
It may „seem” like your traveling to a new country with all the different themed hotels. One minute you think your in Egypt, next thing you know your in New york and reminesing thinking about how you were in the canal rivers of the Venice.
..but no you dont need a passport.
Have fun.
no, you definitely do not need a passport to fly within the states.
U.S. citizens do not need a passport to travel between states by air or any other method. One is needed only when traveling between the U.S. and any other country.
