I need some extra cash. I’m in Singapore for 5 weeks on a travel visa. I probably can’t get a job legally for that short of a time, but there must be other ways to make some money. Where can I sell my stuff? Where can I get paid to donate blood or plasma or something like that? Anyone have any suggestions or advice? Thanks.

You need a work permit in order that you can work in Singapore. You must understand that Singapore is a „law” and „fine” country. Everything, we as a Singaporean must follow law, rules and regulations. It is not like other western countries, that you can work in a farm for temporary and get your travel money.
Selling your stuff in the open in Singapore is illegal, you must get a licence to sell your stuff.
Regarding your donate blood, you can try to be a volunteer for those clinical study done by Pfizer or NUS Lilly, as long as your visa is eligible to stay in Singapore, you can participate their clinical studies program. You can check the below website for more information. As I knew, Pfizer is taking foreigners for their medical studies.

Well, you cant donate blood or any other form from your body as you are a visitor. You can’t work either. The only thing you can do is to claim tax from the purchases you made and if you are lucky, you can purchase the lottery from as low as $1.

Red Cross and the hospitals will not pay you for donating blood. You cannot legally operate a stall to sell stuff because you need to get a license and you cannot get one.
