I travel in short increments (500 miles per day), with the cat in a carrier and a plastic bag-wrapped litter box in the rear seats. About every 200-250 miles or so, I let the cat out to take a whizz in the litter box, inside the car. Make sure you never let the cat out while your car doors or windows are open, or you’ll possibly lose the cat in an unfamiliar place.
At the same time, give the cat an opportunity to have some cat food and water. Leave someone in the car for about 10-15 minutes to allow the cat his/her opportunity. Once that’s done, return the cat to the carrier and go take a break for yourself.
You’ll want to get a roomy cat carrier/crate and consider keeping them up front. If you must put the cat in the back of the truck make sure that they are well protected you don’t want anything back there shifting. Check with your veterinarian for special precautions if your cat tends to be nervous the Dr. may prescribe mild sedatives. You will also have to stop periodically to give the cat food and water and consider a leash to give some stretching time for both of you.

-like that guy-
Well first of all i’d get the cat in the car,
Then i’d get in the car,
Then i’d start the engine
Then i’d Start driving.
After a while i’d stop every few ours to give myself and the cat some air and streach our legs
then i’d get there
uhhh wow uhhh travel smoothly
Split the driving. Try to get some sleep while the cat drives.
Very carefully
TIe its leash to the bumper and hope that he keeps up…………..
have them in a carrier upfront with you?
