I need to know roughly how much it would cost to travel from hartlepool to kesgrave, near ipswich to pick up a large item (sofa) and then travel back down to hartlepool, cleveland, in a large diesel transit van. I think its around 600 miles alltogether maybe just under.

Disel is £1.03 per liter. I don’t know how many liters you need to travel 600 miles but I will guss £390. Probally way out. My Mums car runs on diesal and she told me how much it is.
It could be cheaper for you to have it picked up by someone like Palletway or Palletforce -ask for a quote- & overnighted/trunked to a local depot, & delivered to your door,then you do not have the hassle of travelling. hi if the van is a rental then you would expect to get around 25-30 mpg so therefore i woud guesstimate around £100 – £120
