I’ve got a ****load of student loan that I have yet to pay off, but I am planning a trip this summer to go back pack across Europe! I figure the best time to travel and have fun is while I am still young (im in my 20′s!) but is it okay to indulge myself on what is essentially borrowed money with a monstrous interest rate? i dont see why not cuz everyone else seems to be doing it and i am all about a fun time!

It would be foolish for you to borrow the money for a vacation, vs working to pay back student loans, etc.
If there is ever a problem, the hit to your credit rating can hurt you for a long time.
I am in the lending business. This may be considered irresponsible spending, with no long term plan to pay back debts.
You got my approval! Go for it because, you only live once and if you have the monies now then why not spend it. If you don’t you’ll hate your self in the morning for not doing it when you had it to-do.
