Hey heading there myself soon,
our plan is:
Bangkok (1 night)>> Chang Mai (3 nights) >> Chang Rai(3 nights)>> Luang Prabang (1 night) (LAOS)>> Vang Vieng (2 nights) (LAOS)>> Vientiane (1 night)>> Bangkok (day)>> Koh Samui(3 Days)>> Koh phangan (4 days) >> Krabi (1 night)>> Phi phi island (1 night) >> Phuket (1 night)>> Bangkok and Home!
Depending on your specific interest,
Thailand has all to meet your pleasure.
Russian goes Pattaya. Swedish goes Phuket.
Japanese goes golfing & dental clinic etc.
Hollywood celeb goes spa & plastic in Hua Hin.
Recently, Angelina Jolie went tattooing.
Above all everybody has fun!
Don’t ask others!
Ask yourself what you want!
Amazing Thailand has no boundary!
Start in Bangkok.
Spend a day or two strolling down Sukhumvit; Do the Wats near the King’s Palace; hit the Chatuchek market; etc. (spend some time getting over your jet lag).
Then,Take a quick flight to Chaing Mai (less than one hour) and spend a day or two there. (don’t miss the Doi Suthep Wat… It is great.) If you are adventurous, you can take a bus ride to Chaing Mai… 5 hours of gut-wrenching thrills await you if you do this…
Then, if you are a beach goer, take a flight to the south of the country.. Hit Phuket… pipi… etc. Whatever tickles your fancy….
Fly back to Bangkok… see what there is to see within a 2 or 3 hour drive of the city… Bridge on the River Kwai… The Tiger temple etc. are to the East… Ayyuthia ruins to the North… river cruise down the Chal Phrya river….
Recuperate… Enjoy the Bangkok night life… Fly home.
Enjoy yourself… Some tips:
1.Don’t take it too seriously if someone tries to scam you. 2.Smile at some of the racist pricing you will find. 3.Haggle like a native.
Go north 2 hours from Bangkok and spend a day touring around the Ayutthuya ruins. Then go up north to Chiang Mai and spend a few days there. Trek back down south from there and hit Ko Samui or Phuket or surrounding smaller islands of both.
Come to Thailand and I’ll give you a good root
