if she is flying from Boryispol and is comming through Kiev then there is a travel agents on the street next to independance square where she will be able to obtain travel insurance.

Travel Guard is where I have purchased travel insurance in the past. The reason I suggest it is because I actually live near the main office (I feel more comfortable knowing that it is a real place!) Also a coworker of mine’s daughter works there – it’s in Wisconsin. I have never had any reason to file a claim, though, so I am not sure how well they are with that part of things.
