Well, if you drive, the journey will be about 4 – 5 hours, depending on what type of a speed demon you are.
Else, you will probably have to travel to KL first by bus or train. Buses are very frequent and relatively cheap. i would guess the journey would take 1 hour to 1.5 hours. From KL, you have a variety of options, bus (5 hours?), train (10 hours?) or flight (< 1 hour).
