I’m about to travel in the morning through united airlines but i’m not sure how much my luggage has to weigh, that way i won’t have to pay an extra fee for exceeding the weight required.

Flying in United First, United Business
Mileage Plus Elite
Star Alliance Elite
Active military personnel or dependent traveling with ID on orders
You are exempt from your first two checked bag fees.
OTHERWISE, you are subject to the following fees for checked bags:
$15 first bag, $25 second bag if paid ONLINE at united.com
$20 first bag, $30 second bag if paid at the airport.
ADDITIONAL fees will be applied for:
Exceeding 2 bags
Bags more than 50lb ea (including your first two)
Bags exceeding 62 linear inches
Bags classified as special items
INCLUDED in your fare is one carry on bag plus one small personal item.
Your carry on bag cannot exceed 45 linear inches, and must fit in the overhead compartment
Your small personal item must fit under the seat in front of you
