It’s gonna be my first time to travel by Greyhound bus. I’m coming from Toronto airport to a city which is around 2 hours away.
Also, I have luggages with me. Will those be placed in a separate bus?

Don’t listen to Rank Jeff, he doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Yes, its safe.
I just got took a bus from PA to SC and back. It was a very decent trip
!!!
and as long as you reign eternal optimism with humanity, I’m sure your trip will go fine. People that ride the bus in Canada are no different than people that ride the bus here. Most people riding the bus are just interested in getting from point A to point B, just like you.
Only note I have is to make sure if your change buses to have at least an hour layover, or you may miss your bus if something gets held up.
You also have to move the luggage to the new bus yourself, But they are very organized about which bags get off their bus at each time. they were also very particular with having your name on your bag so no one else will take it. so make sure your have some sort of identification label on the bag, or you may be trying to recall items in said back so your can identify it as yours.
safe travels!
your luggage always travels under the bus you are riding on and you hand it to a worker who sticks it under before you board the bus, then when you get off they unload the luggage and it waits for you on the sidewalk.
ppl are right about the level of safety, there are no police or security gards, i rode the bus between kitchener and waterloo a ton and times and never had a problem but last summer two people were murdered in Canada while riding the bus. There are always creepers at the station in toronto, normally they wont bug you. The train is more expensive and therefore safer as fewer nuts fork out big bucks to ride it. But most likely you will be fine on the bus!
Like all coach buses your luggage goes under neath and is locked by the driver before leaving.
Grey hound buses are kinda travel at your own risk, most people on it are normal, but there are no cops on it and Canada is known for having a lack of police thats why we have such draconian laws and restrict personal liberties. For example, if someone where to assault you on the bus, don’t expect any help unless you at the station.
Its like riding a public transit bus you don’t know if the guy next you is normal or will jump up with a gun or knife and try to kill you for no good reason. Canada is a nation of whimps, if your a woman being assulted on the bus, no one will help you, people will run off the bus and lock the door and call the cops. The reason is the fact that if I were to help you for example, the police would arrest the man for assualting you, then they would arrest me for kidnapping & assualt which = 10 years in prison while he would get parole.
Rank Jeff have a point…don’t know about length of jail time but what he is saying is true. I had this same question myself not too long ago. People are mostly nice but until trouble strikes then everyone turns their back and probably look from a ‘safe’ distance!
Don’t play your IPod too loud. Someone might go crazy and cut off your head and eat chunks of your flesh. Then Fred Phelps will protest your funeral and PETA will compare your death to that of a chicken.
